As with last season, the looks came inspired by the brand’s history. According to the maison’s Instagram, the collection was meant to represent “Lanvin’s past, resignified for the present, primary to the invention of the future”. Together, this came through a series of art deco-inspired looks inspired by Jeanne Lanvin’s blue-washed, 1920s apartment – including seamless shirting, patterned trousers, puffed-out mini shorts, and a series of thick headbands, all featuring sharp, geometric patterns shaped by crystals or mixed with contrasting fabrics.
