Zomer SS26

Though they might be grown men, Danial Aitouganov and Imruh Asha refuse to put away childish things. The designer-stylist duo responsible for Zomer held their latest Paris show this week, and it was all about “the tension between growing up and blowing up, shifting from the miniature to the monumental, from babyhood to bridal womanhood.” As guests entered the show space, this tension was laid bare: a giant palette of primary colours rested in the middle of the runway, ready for models to pace its perimeter. Was this a children’s watercolour set, or the make-up palette of an adult woman? That’s for you to decide.
