On a particularly crisp Sunday afternoon at London Fashion Week, Ashley Williams dared to ask ‘what if hometown provincials deserve fashion too?’ For SS26, the designer was celebrating “the monotonous job as an act of service” and finding purpose in what you already have. “Our protagonist resides in a provincial town,” read the show notes, “taking pride in simple pleasures and tending to a life with an attention reserved for the most precious gardens.”
