Sending all manner of Polly Pocket creations down the runway, Sandy Liang has long had an obsession with toys – but, for SS26, the New York designer mined someone else’s obsession instead. The reclusive, mid-century heiress Huguette Clark was the inspiration for this season’s show, a woman known for her fanatic devotion to antique dolls, amassing a huge collection inside her abandoned, 5th Avenue apartment.
