Just three days ago, the Council of Fashion Designers of America announced that Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta had been nominated for their first CFDA award. “We truly never expected this,” the pair wrote on Instagram. “Honored to be nominated for menswear designer of the year!” And though they have stiff competition in Willy Chavarria, Thom Browne and The Row, the pair’s SS26 collection proved why they might just take the crown.
