“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious,” read the opening line of Collina Strada’s SS26 show notes. The quote, from Carl Jung’s Alchemical Studies, Volume 13, suggests that, to reach true happiness, we must expose and confront the darkest, most selfish and negative parts of ourselves – and what better place to do that than fashion week!
