This season, for Kiko Kostadinov’s womenswear offering, guests milled into Paris’ Brasserie Mollard, a 130-year-old restaurant in the city’s 8th arrondissement. As always, the setting reflected the inspiration: Vali Myers, a “free-spirited Australian dancer who moved among Paris’s most bohemian spaces in the 1950s”. During Myers’ time spent in the city, she was also somewhat of a muse, inspiring Ed Van Der Elsken’s 1956 photo book Love on the Left Bank, which designers Laura and Deanna Fanning also looked to this season.
