In show notes for his AW25 collection, Japanese designer Kei Ninomiya declared he wanted the clothes to trigger “a kind of feeling that is hard to understand.” Trained under Rei Kawakubo, Ninomiya’s designs have always been wildly experimental, and this season was no exception.
