Elsewhere, giant ostrich feathers were used as tops, and a particular standout came in the form of a leather biker jacket that had been transformed into an armless cape. In this way, the great thing about Di Felice’s clothes is that they appear to be rather straightforward, but their apparent simplicity belies complex construction and expert fabrication. To celebrate that success, at the end of the show the coloured paper on the floor exploded into life, creating a giant confetti cannon in the middle of Le Carreau du Temple.
