The latest Zomer handbag required a second glance too. Quite simply, it wasn’t there. Just the strap, which was attached to… thin air. “We think it’s gonna be the next It bag!” Aitouganov and Asha laughed backstage. Alongside the lonely leather straps, beautifully tailored suit jackets were worn backwards, as were silk trenches, blue denim jeans, knee-length shirts and slouchy trousers. Some dresses faced forwards, but surprisingly, were crowned with giant lampshades. Overall, it brought a playful injection of fun to Paris Fashion Week, particularly when the designers made their wave with their backs turned (of course).
