Elsewhere, the accessories stood out, mostly for the logoed, pony hide straps dangling from the bags, and also the ‘DIESEL’ belt buckles, featuring a new squiggly font. Most memorable, however, were the final three looks, a series of smart shirts printed onto what looked like giant medical plasters and haphazardly stuck to the body. There was something very Martin Margiela about those closing models, and since Martens is due to take over the Maison very soon, we assume this just might’ve been a little taste of what’s to come.
