At one point, giggles could be heard when an AI-generated disco-rendition of Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass” began to play. Backstage, Ives explained that he wanted to focus on joy to distract from the perils of the world – though he still used his bow to make a statement, calling for us to ‘Protect the Dolls’ with his slogan tee.
