Simone Rocha kept her show notes short and sweet this season. Just a few words explained the inspiration behind her AW25 collection: ‘The Tortoise and The Hare’, ‘school days’ and ‘headmistress’ were among the descriptors used throughout the poem, left on seats inside Goldsmiths’ Hall. Backstage, Rocha recalled memories of her school principal teaching her Aesop’s most famous fable, a valuable lesson in patience.
