For a collection based on the idea of construction, the clothes were deliberately deconstructed. Typical of Alleyne’s work, safety pins held swathes of thick fabric in place, draped over the body in the form of dresses, skirts, scarves and sweaters tied around the neck. The jeans will no doubt be popular with the Alleyne customer – punky, mismatched denim, graffitied with the brand’s logo in blood red.
