Cameron Williams and Jebi Labembika’s label Nuba ramped that intensity up even further, sending out an opening model who Kubrick stared down photographers with his hands in his trousers. Following that, the collection traversed silky hooded tops à la Grace Jones, swaddled felt blazers and billowing ribbed trousers, plus tailored jackets with unusual, angular lapels. Elsewhere, another model wore a hooded top with a pound coin printed on, but in the middle it just read ‘Zero Pounds’, which seems very fitting for the state of the UK right now.
