Eckhaus Latta AW25

Elsewhere, a standout came in this season’s leather offering, brought to us by a collaboration with Ecco.kollektive, who’ve recently teamed up with Ottolinger, Kiko Kostandinov and Louis-Gabriel Nouchi, to name a few. For Eckhaus, the Danish tannery produced some cocooning, leather hoodies in black, crimson, and patchwork yellow, and also helped on the skirts and footwear, too. In focusing on quality and wearability, Eckhaus and Latta sought to remind us of our own tastes, beyond the confines of our ironic algorithms. “Of course things can be beautiful!! Don’t be idiotic. Don’t pretend to have emotions you don’t have,” wrote Phillips in the show notes. “This isn’t the internet.”
