Eckhaus Latta AW25

“Sincerity is not in style right now. Not in the fashion world at all, but not in the wider world either,” read the show notes for Eckhaus Latta’s latest show, written by the New York publicist Kaitlin Phillips. “We are not suggesting it should be in style – but there is something to saying what you mean, in all caps, at a time when things are dire.” Phillips’ missive, laid out on seats at the show, reflected Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta’s raison d’être from the start – to make uncomplicated, unpretentious, ever-so-stylish clothing, but for real-life New Yorkers, not the never-ending cycle of the online content churn.
