A particular standout was the footwear, which appeared on the runway in all manner of misshapen variations. Patent open-toe pumps were elongated to the point of becoming tripping hazards, while some ballerina flats were constructed entirely from kitchen sink scourers – because a woman’s work is clearly never done.
