“There’s an elephant in the room, have you seen it?” begin the show notes for Ester Manas’ SS25 collection. Though they never refer to it specifically, designers Ester Manas and Balthazar Delepierre are talking about the worrying downturn in curve models on the Paris runways. As one of the few fully size-inclusive brands who cast bigger models season to season, the duo are primed to take on the subject – and with a life-size elephant statue flanking their runway, no less.
