At Milan Fashion Week, AVAVAV’S Beate Karlsson took us to the city’s historic Forza e Coraggio sports arena for a SS25 offering that was cheekily billed as “an attempt to break the world record in short distance running.” Featuring all of the brand’s trademark humour, models tried to race round the arena’s track in Karlsson’s kooky clothes, but were unsuccessful in their attempts, as we all know by now that fashion people can’t run. Some tripped and almost fell, some gave up and chatted on their phones, while one model even threw up on the track below her as guests looked on in shock.
