At other points on the catwalk, an entire coat is made from leftover spools of denim, denim is overdyed until its stoney-beige and resembles camel, while oversized jeans are lasered to give them a super distressed look. And, elsewhere, Martens’ current obsession with circulatory takes him other places too: bandana prints from Diesel’s archive also make a return to the runway, used to create a trompe l’oeil draping effect in the closing set of multi-coloured looks.
