Reinvigorating a tired and rained-on crowd, Alleyne brought with him an injection of colour through cobalt blues, oranges, scarlet, yellow and fuschia. Draped fabrics were held together with safety pins, tied in knots around the waist and swathed over the body. Titled ‘Island Underground’, the collection referenced the musings of Ann Marie ‘Hairstyle’ Tomlinson, Gerald ‘Bogle’ Levy, and Captain Black Terrance of the Bloody Bay Buccaneers.
