Next up was Fashion East first-timer Nuba, a menswear label designed by Cameron Williams and Jebi Labembika. Their collection SIM was inspired by the idea of simulation, or more specifically, “the change in identity and emotional anguish caused by the need to simulate differing versions of ourselves between alternate realities.” Taking cues from “the geographies of London, Jamaica, and Cameroon”, draped hoods were shown alongside leather ballet flats and structured shoulders, while shirts and tops were slashed open at the heart.
