The catwalk opened with a Kostadinovian show of strength. A yellow knitted jumper gave the illusion of chain mail, fluffy yellow headgear resembled some sort of armour, while historical looking breeches were slashed as if the wearer had returned from battle. Similar looks followed, but they then gave way to a section of light dresses, some with cutout voile swirls, others of diaphanous crimson construction. Elsewhere, the Kiko woman’s duality was expressed through the mixing of unexpected items, like sturdy leather wellies and weightless draped tops.
