Though Ester Manas won the Andam Special Prize in May 2023 – €100,000 in cash and a year long mentorship with Anthony Vacarello – the brand hasn’t staged a runway since SS23, with designers Balthazar Delepierre and Ester Manas skipping a season to focus on their craft. It was a bold move, especially in a cut-and-dry industry with a memory like a goldfish – but AW24 proved their instincts were spot on.
