Though the collection rested heavily on outerwear (this is fall, after all), there was enough eccentricity to keep us all absorbed. Coat lapels came engorged, obscuring their wearer’s face, blazers were rendered in buttery burgundy leather, while Davis’s own Ferragamo red was splashed across at least one of the coats. The best outerwear innovation, however, came in the form of those wide-set belts, their outsize clasps providing a sense of both safety and chic.
