Ranging from squiggle-fringed dresses to cartoonishly-coloured tops and skirts, these garments weren’t stitched but fastened with snappers, all the better to turn them back into carpets when – as one model narrated, taking off her shoes in an obvious nod to fashion’s precarious footwear – you need somewhere cosy to rest your feet. “Ah! Much better.”
