Throughout the collection, tailoring – which we might associate with male power, especially its more poisonous manifestations – is transformed into something more palatable; suit jackets are softened into lovely little cardis, other pieces are given “chiffon linings and rounded shapes”, while still other pieces are rendered with an ultra-soft, pajama-like finish. It’s giving masc but femme?
