While it’s become clear over the past few years that fashion loves a runway gimmick [see: Bella Hadid’s viral spray-on dress at Coperni or Versace’s endless 90s supermodel cameos], New York-based designer Peter Do wanted all the attention on the clothing for his Paris Fashion Week debut. “This season, we want our work to speak for itself,” the designer – who debuted his first collection as creative director for Helmut Lang earlier this month – stated on his eponymous label’s SS24 show notes.
