As always at Ferragamo, the accessories were a high point – this time around, shoes tapped down the runway melded together with strings of earthy crystals or gold, sculptural heels, and bags tucked under models arms came embossed with green, scaly leather, embellished with chestnut beads, or blown up to massive proportions. Meanwhile, fabric prints of venus flytraps, wooden necklaces, and flattened flip-flops added an organic fluidity to the show’s otherwise futuristic feel.
