Meanwhile, Liu’s act opted for a romantic, flowy take on the brand [see: hot pink, feathered ballroom skirts, floral, ruffled shirting, and lacy knickers] and Katie Grand focused in on Moschino’s loud approach to luxury – emblazoning slogans and pop art-style graphic across handbags, t-shirts, and tiny bikini tops. Closing out the show for a fifth act – after a choreographed ballet dance and violin solo, of course – models paraded through the venue wearing t-shirts created in collaboration with the Elton John AIDS Foundation, a dedication to Franco Moschino who died of AIDS-related causes in 1994.
