On the penultimate day of the New York shows, Velez dragged the fashion press through the mud, quite literally. Following in the footsteps of Demna, whose SS23 show took place in a pungent muddy pit, Velez’s models literally slung the stuff at each other, as they waded through piles of gloopy brown goo, slipping and sliding all over the place.
