Everything looked as though it could’ve been crafted in a textile class – striped maxi dresses, draped t-shirt dresses, and homespun upside-down knitwear – but the starting point for this season was old-fashioned lingerie, which Laura and Deanna Fanning recreated in pale pink négligées and halter necks with ruched portholes. An air of déshabillé was further evoked in satin gowns that swooped around an ab-baring gap and sporty dresses which featured tape-edged clavicle cut-outs.
