But Manas couldn’t resist pocking fun at the institution and so a bandeau top with a red rose at the neck was printed with the words: “I Said No.” It would also be remiss not to mention Manas’ commitment to inclusivity – and though her designs have value beyond their sizing – her AW23 collection featured the highest number of curve models in Paris so far, laying bare the (still) regressive attitudes of the industry at large.
