The resulting collection was a mishmash of past D&G references – think Cardi B at the 2018 AMAs – cranked through Koizumi’s funhouse kaleidoscope. Ribboned corsets were worn over ruffled skirts in ombré gradients and explosive whorls of tulle were fashioned into mammoth greatcoats, while a gang of show-stopping tulle titans closed the collection, each bigger and brighter than the ones that came before.
