There were flashes of fluoro tartan, long-sleeved t-shirts that could have been made from rigid craft paper, and knitted beanies that sprouted hair-like spirals. Not one for the faint-hearted, guests were told to “leave [their] expectations outside this building. Drop preconceptions, shake off assumptions,” as the show notes read. “Forget perfectly perfect perfection and welcome reality.”
