There were echoes of McQueen throughout – not just in the dramatic presentation (models slunk down the runway, at times running from pillar to pillar as if chased) or the dark romance of the collection, but in the details too – with the feathers, for example, it was impossible not to be reminded of the designer’s Horn of Plenty collection.
