This season, Ives cycled through yet more nostalgic pop-cultural references: from Kate Moss at Glastonbury to the wedding dress designed by Lindsay Lohan’s mum in The Parent Trap and the bartenders who worked at The Coyote Ugly Saloon. He paid homage to Nicolas Ghesquiere’s AW06 collection for Balenciaga in trapeze coats, horse girl hats, and clunking Mary Janes, and all the pseudo-spiritual boho girls of 2003 in healing crystal necklaces and long-fringed crop tops.
