There were slashed bodycons, corsetted puffer jackets, and spliced shirting. The sleeves of blown-up biker jackets were extended into wipe-clean gloves, leather chaps left unzipped, and rampart-shouldered blazers with sheer cut-outs. Denim belt-skirts were squared off at the waist, tiers of taffeta were slung from the hips, and kidney-shaped leather bags were thrashed around like a lion tamer’s whip.
