Bucket hats were swapped out for fishing hats, single-breasted jackets were ruched at the elbow like pond gloves, while droopy sweaters were gnarled in mollusc-y bobbles like the underbelly of an old boat. Being Dior, the collection was a lot more elegant than those descriptions might suggest – all roomy, long-line silhouettes in flowy cuts. So flowy, in fact, that it was difficult to know whether something was a trouser or a maxi-skirt, a pair of board shorts or a kilt.
