This translated into “Pieces upcycled by recycling material from overstock” as well as the more metaphorical “Pieces upcycled from recycled ideas”. “Reconditioned pieces carry the Upcycling Signal Logo, a new LV emblem exercised to imbue the ‘old’ with new value”, the show’s notes read. As Abloh told us back at the end of 2019: “I think that fashion is gonna go away from buying a boxfresh something; it’ll be like, hey I’m gonna go into my archive.”
