Setting the tone, Ponyboy invited attendees to imagine a very specific scenario: “You’ve just finished school, but it’s set in a teen movie where you’re also 32. Then, you get a text from your they/them vegetarian friend with a mullet, inviting you to the hottest queer sleepover ever.” As always, they took it a step further by reimagining nostalgic sleepover rituals, creating a “camp, sexy, and ultimately bizarre Ponyboy queer take on the chatrooms where many of us came to find ourselves growing up.”
