Rising Sign

Sagittarius, my rising sign, has the most free-spirited beauty routine of all. Ruled by expansive Jupiter, we’re always on the go and need beauty rituals that can keep up. For me, that means wash-and-go waves and lasting make-up that can stand up to extremes of temperature and terrain — like the Southern heat that can easily go above 100 degrees. With this adventure-loving ascendant, it’s a matter of prioritising freedom over restriction. I don’t even like to put my hair in a ponytail and prefer to honour my wildness by loosely braiding it instead. That doesn’t mean that we don’t love glamour. My Sagittarius rising muse is Anjelica Huston, who played gothic style icon Morticia Addams in The Addams Family and chief witch in The Witches.
