JOHN GALLIANO AW07
Set in the Pigalle streets of early century Paris, John Galliano’s AW07 show was a decadent and romantic orgy of ruffles, velvet, lace and swathes of chiffon. Julien d'Ys gave models 1920’s style flapper bobs, fin de siecle up-dos and long, greased locks, while with Pat on make-up, cupid’s bows were arched, lips violet-hued, brows were pencil thin squiggles and eyes were a sunset of water-colours; bursts of vibrant yellow interlaced with cool mauves that fanned down models’ faces.
