Fox Fisher and Miri posing with a sign which reads “transition saved my life”
Miri said, “Trans pride this year was definitely an emotional one for me. I had top surgery on May 6, so it’s the first year I could walk the parade proud and shirtless. I’ve also played events at Brighton trans pride the last few years but playing my songs feeling like my finished self was really incredible. Trans pride is a very important day for people in and around my community. Everyone deserves to have representation and feels seen. Especially seeing the messages about trans people in recent news, it’s important for us to feel safe, respected and important”
