What Hedi wanted to was simply have fun with some fashionable Japanese kids and also to express his gratitude to everyone in Japan who has supported his work over the years. The party finally happened on July 14, organised in conjunction with his recent photography book Rock Diary. Hedi himself DJed, playing bands like the Libertines, Razorlight, Eight Legs, Klaxons, Cazals and These New Puritans - all the wild bunches with whom Hedi worked closely. However, the party was not just about music, but also involved an interactive photo shoot session. You can see the pictures taken at the party on his website. Escape the algorithm!
