Three injuries have been reported since the fire, which ‘gutted’ the club
Early this morning (June 15) a fire broke out at Berlin’s Club der Visionaere and the city’s fire department reports that the venue is now “almost completely burned out”. Luckily, it doesn’t seem like there were any casualties, though the emergency services also report three injuries.
Of course, the loss will be a blow for Berlin’s clubbing community. The canalside club – with a small dancefloor and cosy vibe – was considered a central point for Berlin’s minimal tech-house scene. People have been showing their love on social media.
Firefighters seem to have stopped the spread of the fire before it got even worse, keeping it away from a nearby petrol station. There’s not much news on exactly how much damage has been done inside the club though, apart from their statement.
Club der Visionaere are yet to comment publicly.
