Thom Yorke began his very short solo tour this week in LA – during the show, he played several new songs as well as some rare ones.

As Consequence of Sound reports, one of the songs he debuted was “I’m a Very Rude Person”, as well as a never-before-heard track “Saturdays”.

As well as this, the Radiohead frontman played “Two Feet Off the Ground”, a rare tune from 2015 that he had never performed live before. He also played the unreleased “Impossible Knots”, “Not the News”, and “Traffic”.

The 20th anniversary of Radiohead’s seminal album OK Computer was celebrated earlier this year – the band dropped a video for “Lift”, a song that was originally recorded for the album, but didn’t make the cut.

Yorke’s solo albums The Eraser (2006) and Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes (2014) were recently made available for streaming. Susprisia, Luca Guadagnino’s remake of Dario Argento’s 1977 cult classic, will be released next year with a film score debut from Yorke. 

“I love remixing because you can take something people already identify with and claim it for something else,” he previously told Dazed in 2013. “You can actually spend your whole life going back and sampling yourself – but that would be a bit like masturbation.”
