Former goth-psych guitarist of Mallard, Dylan Tidyman-Jones now heads up FRONDS. With a line-up as fluid as their woozy dream-pop, the San Fran band's debut album is out now on fresh new outfit, Do Not Disturb Records. Purportedly smitten with their tracks, Brian Lee Hughes - who also directed 'Crush' - formed a whole new imprint in order to release their self-titled LP, so-named for its ethos of putting out "Music to make out to by and for artistic weirdos who can keep secrets." Here we premiere the intense yet understated video for first single, "Crush". Filmed in Berlin and produced by Dazed favourite, Matt Lambert and Jannis Birsner, the video's grainy, voyeuristic vibes build the tension for an uncomfortably passionate exchange between two lovers - cementing FRONDS' 'make-out band' rep.
