Carnival Exclusives: RBMA Giveaway // Deviation YT Playlist

Get ready for the Carnival weekend with our RBMA party ticket giveaway and YouTube highlights from Benji B & Alice Moxie at Deviation

This weekend, we'll be celebrating the Bank Hol lols by heading down to the annual Notting Hill Carny and its many applicable after-parties held across West London. The notorious Red Bull Music Academy BBQ & shindig returns this year after Five Years at Notting Hill Carnival - previously having the biggest names like M.I.A. and Santigold down for the Major Lazer parties under the arch. This year sees another 'Super Special Secret guest' and Sean Paul, plus Hudson Mohawke, Lunice, and Dre Skull on the bill. Though the limited tickets have once again been snapped up in mere seconds off the RBMA website this year, Dazed Digital have been given a pair up for grabs. Log onto Twitter @DazedMagazine today for details.

If you're not one of the lucky winners of the RBMA party though, fear not - On Sunday 26th and Monday 27th there'll be a two-part special at Paradise with a stage by Ninja Tune with Cold Cut, The 2 Bears, Kwesachu, Congo Natty and many more special guests. Continuing the festivities on Monday, Deviation will be inviting down the likes of Zinc & Benji B, Toddla T, Semtex, Oneman and Martelo. Here Benji B and Moxie pick out their all time favourite Carnival jams:

Wookie - Down on Me
- The first person I ever heard play this tune was DJ EZ. Every year since it has been played at every single carnival and still sounds like future music.
Dizzee Rascal - I Luv U - Pure raw UK music production at its absolute rowdiest. Now undoubtedly a classic.
Deep Blue - Helicopter Tune
- From the years '93 - '95, when Jungle ruled Carnival - so many tunes to pick from - but this one never gets old.

Fabian - Prophecy - Epic tune... just sums up Carnival for me - what I wanna hear on the Sunday at 7pm with the sun coming through the clouds just before curfew.
Kanye West & Jay Z – Paris - How many times are you gonna hear this tune drawn this year? Trust me, it will be more than a few.
Vybz Kartel - Clarks - Undoubtedly one of the biggest tunes of last year's Carnival - this was just everywhere. Wondering which one will take the crown this summer.
Barrington Levy – Murderer - No caption necessary.
Remarc - Sound Murderer - Hard to pick from all the classic Jungle tunes that used to tear down carnival but this has to be up there. '94 business.
Lil Silva - Pulse Vs Flex - A couple of years back Funky house ruled Carnival - and this is prob the standout cut from that period.

Omar - It's So... - Just a feel good tune that everyone loves - Cannot wait to have UK Soul legend come and bless the mic for us this year.

Ninja Tune / Deviation: Sunday 26th August & Monday 27th August, Paradise by way of Kensal Green, 19 Kilburn Lane, Kensal Green, London W10 4AE
